Van Etten is a small town nestled in beautiful upstate NY in the Finger Lakes region home to waterfalls and gorges.
This run is open to the public for individual runners. Medals will also be given to the three finishers of each gender/age group. Trophies are given to the top two female/male finishers. The race starts at Vergason Technology, Inc in Van Etten.
To date, we have proudly awarded scholarships to 22 seniors pursuing college, university, and technical school education.Įach Year, the Panther Prowl 5K is run on the 1st Saturday in August. Thanks to the tremendous generosity and continued support from our runners, sponsors and donors, we have raised over $50,000 in scholarship funds. The Panther Prowl 5K is a charity run/walk event whose purpose is to raise scholarship funds for students in the Spencer Van Etten Central School District.
